Which types of services provided by the smart Library?
A smart library (SL) is an information centre with networks of many libraries and their services in a larger informational ecosystem around the globe. Smartness means that the development of new library e-tools and services are measured on the assessment of real resources and users (Shah & Bano 2020).

1. IoT Based Library Services:
The Internet of Things, (IoT) is the latest technology through internet in the present scenario, by this embedded technology the number of devices or objects can be able to collect and transmit data in the library with human to human, things to human and things to things, at smart library interface(Brain, et al., 2014).
2. ICT Based Library Services
Information and communication technology (ICT) has transformed library services globally. Information communication technology, which including computers, smart mobiles, Tablets, iPhone , the internet, the Web, Intranet, Extranet and related technologies are use smart library services.
3. Digital Library Service
Virtual library, E-Library, Library without walls and Digital Library are the used as alternative terms of each other. The basic objective of digital library is to improvise the access of library contents as well as it also includes the cost saving, preservation, keeping peace with technology and information sharing multiple user at same time.
4. Institutional Repository Service
An institutional repository is a service that an institution offers to its community for the management and dissemination of research materials, maintained by the community members. The institutional repository can help to redefine the production, dissemination and the use of resources.
5. Library Portal 2.0 Service
Library portal meets the individual needs of the users and the portal is now the standard interface to generate library resources and services through single access and management point for users.
6. E-database Service
Indexing and Abstracting database services provide the Almetric count of the content like views, downloads, reads, citation count, h-index of the articles. Scopus, WoS and ResearchGate database are designed such services.
7. Reprographic, Micrographic & Digital Scanning Service
These technology is very popular in every library and almost every libraries are using it’s globally. On the demand of the users libraries provide the photocopies services of the documents, which called reprographic services.
8. QR Code, Bar code
QR Code and Bar code is also considered the part of smart libraries services. Bar code keeps the information of library books and users. QR Code encoded the information SMS, Phone Numbers and any other text information.
